In the past decade, the Municipality of Békéscsaba has been striving for a long-term relationship with potential investors, therefore its approach to city development was characterized by innovative strategic planning in order to create an investor-friendly infrastructure, in close cooperation with the Government of Hungary. Several industrial areas have been developed, which can accommodate investors of different sizes and with a wide spectrum of infrastructure needs. The country’s most modern, state-of-the-art technology-equipped Printing Training Center and Aviation and Mechanical Training Center were built, which serve the labor needs of businesses operating in the city. Preparations for the development of the regional airport are underway. In addition to an investor-friendly approach, the city management supports environmentally conscious city development.
