As a result of the comprehensive development of he City Park, the park’s entire flora will be rehabilitated and given a new quality, and its area will also be significantly expanded. The renewal of the Sensory Garden, the Rondo and the Small Botanical Garden form part of this element of the project. With the car traffic through the City Park being banned, the Károly Kós Promenade will be a genuinely pedestrian area, and the noise and air pollution of the area will also be reduced. Visitors will be able to benefit from sport, recreational and catering facilities as well as walks and playgrounds. The surface of the City Park Lake will be increased almost six fold and the entire area of the park will be made accessible.
